AI Powered CBD started life as an internal tool, not a product. It was only after it started paying for itself on our own webshop that we considered offering it to anyone else.
Where it started
AI Powered CBD was built by the team behind Pure CBD4U, a premium CBD webshop we run day-to-day. While building that store, we kept running into the same handful of problems: customers wanted dosage guidance and instant answers before they'd commit to a purchase, and we were spending a growing share of our week answering the same questions by email, over and over.
We looked at what was available and didn't love the options. Generic chatbot platforms had no idea what CBD even was, let alone our products. So we built our own — trained specifically on CBD knowledge, our catalogue, and the compliance rules that come with selling CBD in the UK and EU.
From internal tool to platform
Once it was running on our own shop, the results were hard to ignore — fewer repetitive support questions, more visitors converting into customers, and a genuinely better shopping experience for people trying to work out which product was right for them. That's when we decided other CBD businesses were probably fighting the exact same battle, and started offering the same platform, white-labelled, to other shops.

Why we built it specifically for CBD
A generic AI tool doesn't know what a broad-spectrum oil is, why THC content matters, or what a first-time buyer actually needs to hear before they'll trust a product enough to buy it. Every part of this platform — the AI's training, the calculators, the app — was shaped by running a real CBD business ourselves, not by adapting a general ecommerce template after the fact.
Our aim is simple: help CBD businesses sell more, support less, and give their customers a genuinely better experience — through AI that actually understands CBD.
